And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13

Welcome to my second devotional series, The Greatest of These…. Love is work. Love takes time. Love requires an internal revolution where God and His other children take center stage, oftentimes at the expense of our motives, agendas, prejudices and desires. It is more spiritual than natural, and I do not have as much of it as I thought I did. I don’t love as God loves, but He wants me to.

Love is a divine command. Throughout many of my devotionals, I will use Matthew 22:37-40 as a reference point. Jesus made it clear that loving ‘I am’ with all that I am and loving my neighbor as myself are His two greatest commandments.
