Faith Killing Fear Devotionals

$4.99

It has been a most difficult year in a trying life.  Emotionally bedraggled, I tackled a layman’s examination of all Biblical “do not fear” and “do not be afraid” passages in hopes of relief, growth and understanding.

I have believed in a Higher Power for as long as I can remember. That is not to say that my belief hasn’t been challenged or evanescent. I do not consider myself “churched”, although I have irregularly attended various denominations of worship. My spiritual life has been more of an independent study, preferring reading in quiet time and prayer to cacophonous halls of hymns and sermons.

For me, the Bible is inspiration, literature and history, one of the great works of God through which we learn more about our Creator and creation. It was time for me to take a dedicated, disciplined look at my faith, its roots and its need for nourishment.

The simplest of precepts guided me.

He is I am. I am not Him.

With a bowed head, this daily devotional is a record of my attempt to evaluate and mitigate my worry and fear in the light of God’s instruction. Thank you for taking time to journey with me.
